Chuang Residence – Cupertino, CA

This project features a thoughtfully designed home addition and full interior remodel, expanding the existing 1,234 square foot residence with a 610 square foot addition to create a total living space of approximately 1,844 square feet. 

The scope of work includes a complete reconfiguration of the interior layout, highlighted by the removal of both load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls to create a seamless, open-concept living environment. The kitchen and living areas are being opened up to enhance flow, natural light, and overall functionality, accompanied by a fully reimagined primary bathroom and upgrades throughout the home.

The project also includes the removal of the existing fireplace and chimney, installation of a new HVAC system, and comprehensive electrical and plumbing improvements. New living spaces, including additional bedrooms and bathrooms, are integrated to elevate both comfort and usability.

This transformation brings a refined, modern feel to the home, combining expanded living space with a clean, cohesive design that enhances both everyday living and overall home value.
